When we decided to purchase and review close to 50 online guitar lessons we had no idea how many there were and what poor quality the majority most of them were. We found that good guitar lessons were few and far between online. Some people are natural teachers while others shouldn't even attempt to teach guitar. You may be able to learn a few chords in that time but that's about it.

It was priced a little higher than some of the others but we still thought it was affordable for a beginner guitar lessons.
Another interesting thing we found out when starting this was a lot of the sites you see have the same guitar lessons being advertised. After doing a little research we soon discovered some of them didn't know an E string from a D string. They are affiliate marketers and aren't necessarily musicians or instructors. I'm not saying that's a bad thing I'm just saying there isn't much accountability on the internet these days.
When looking for online guitar lessons make sure they offer a money back guarantee and a phone number where you can actually speak with a real person.
The great thing about purchasing these online is you can learn in your home and at your own pace. We didn't have that when I was learning the guitar at a young age. I had several personnel instructors until I realized I wasn't learning anything or for that matter what I wanted to learn.
Just remember you are the teachers source of income and usually they are paid by the hour. It may or may not work out well depending on a lot of factors.
My advice is do a little research and if they don't have a phone number to call be a little wary. There are good quality online guitar lessons out there and in a variety of formats and price ranges.
